We have more than just a long-standing relationship with our long-standing production partner, Cascina San Giovanni in Piedmont. We have been their exclusive distribution partner since the company was founded and maintain an intensive working relationship. Together we track down specialities and develop new recipes.

History

Everything at Cascina San Giovanni started very small over 30 years ago, in the house of the same name in Piedmont. The first sugo was prepared in the kitchen of the time-honoured farmhouse according to a secret family recipe. The unexpectedly high demand, first from relatives and friends, then from more and more people, was so great that production soon had to be rethought. The pots and pans got bigger. The excellent ingredients from the fields of regional farmers and the inexhaustible variety of Italian cuisine inspired further recipes.

Philosophy

The philosophy of Cascina San Giovanni has remained the same over the years: The ingredients for the products all come from regional farms and are processed without preservatives or colourings, just as they were back then. The products of Cascina San Giovanni are distributed exclusively by the company La Gazza. The Cascina San Giovanni, La Gazza and Via Emilia private label products are manufactured for you. Cascina San Giovanni also produces for other private labels of international customers.
