Torroncini friabili
These classic torroncini with hazelnuts have their origins in Piedmont. Selected IGP hazelnuts are dried, shelled and roasted. Honey, sugar and egg white are cooked into a dough in a bain-marie for a whole morning. When the ideal consistency is reached, the roasted hazelnuts are added. While still warm, the mixture is partly rolled, moulded and cut by hand. A friable and crispy speciality that does not require any gelatine.
